While our Mesh Wide Area Network (MWAN) Products are engineered and quality-tested to withstand severe conditions, occasionally hardware components can fail as a result of extreme situations. Therefore, Motorola Solutions offers Extended Warranties with equipment coverage and replacement options to support your Mesh Deployments.
12-Month Standard Warranty
When you purchase a Motorola MWAN product, you automatically receive a one-year limited warranty on hardware components. This Standard Warranty provides replacement of a defective unit in the event of a hardware failure. The Standard Warranty also includes a 12 month warranty on Motorola Solution’s software which is limited to:
- correction or replacement of software resulting in significant, demonstrable program or documentation errors
- replacement of defective media
MWAN Extended Warranty
Anytime during the initial 12 month Standard Warranty period, you may purchase an extended warranty to continue coverage for hardware and software for an additional one, two or four years (“Extended Warranty”). The Extended Warranty for each product has a unique part number. The Extended Warranties can be purchased through your authorized Motorola Reseller.
MWAN Software Maintenance Contract After the initial 12-month standard warranty, an annual Software Maintenance Contract must be obtained to continue receiving software updates and technical support. The contract includes minor software enhancements as they become available and 24/7 telephone support. Contracts are available through Motorola’s authorized reseller partners or directly from the Technical Support Center with a credit card. Major software feature enhancements require the purchase of a license key and/or new hardware.
